WHY IT WORKS

A small “deplaning” tool opens up pores and sweeps the uppermost layer of makeup debris and dead skin cells away. A gentle glycolic/salicylic acid peel is used to deliver the benefits of a peel without the negative aspects of a post peel. The Vortex-Extraction® is an automated vortex suction cup that works to clean pores. The Vortex-Fusion® is then applied to nourish and protect your skin with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid (a natural moisturizer). What is HydraFacial MD®

The HydraFacial MD® treatment is a fairly new aesthetic technology. It takes its name from the root word Hydrate; “to cause to take up moisture”. The HydraFacial MD® treatment is intended to remove dead skin cells and to extract impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. Most clients find that this treatment is soothing, refreshing and non-irritating.

Why is HydraFacial MD® good for my skin?

Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been linked in some studies to increase signs of aging. The HydraFacial MD® procedure is a hydrating and non-irritating treatment.

Am I a candidate for this treatment?

The HydraFacial MD® treatment is designed for all skin types. Your physician or skincare professional may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. Consult your physician or skincare professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity test.

How long does the treatment take? Is there any downtime or pain involved?

The HydraFacial MD® treatment takes as little as 15 minutes. The treatment is often described as a feeling like “a cool paintbrush moving over the face”. You may put on make-up and return to your normal activities right after your treatment.

What results may be expected? How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?

Many people report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment – these results will vary from person to person. The smooth results and hydration may last five to seven days or possibly longer. We recommend one treatment per month for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, oily and congested skin..
